My very first competition was when I had been skating about a year.

I was really ill with a flu like thing. And had to travel a little way to get to the competition.

I skated for my warm up and had to sit down. I felt so unwell. I got ont o do my competition and felt like I was going to be sick (I wasn't) I can't really remember what I did for the rest as it is a bit of a blur!

But I can remember standing on the ice waiting for my photo to be taken just swaying because I wanted to just go home.

It turned out I came 4th out of like 20 skaters which was good.

On the way home I slept and didn't get out of bed until a week later!
